Adviza delivers Local Authority funded careers guidance to young people aged 14 to 18 who are NEET (not in employment, education or training) or at risk of becoming NEET in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. Other services include: direct relationships with 130 schools buying independent general careers advice; intensive NEET support programmes; delivering part of the ‘National Careers Service’ contract across Berks and Bucks; as well as a growing retail careers advice service. Impetus-PEF funding targets careers advice for vulnerable 14 to 19 year olds.
Impetus-PEF’s work focuses on Adviza’s delivery of careers advice for young people who are NEET / at risk of becoming NEET. We have helped Adviza to identify how they can use data more effectively to monitor their impact and set the criteria for the young people they will help. We have also worked with them to identify opportunities to extend best practice across all of their programmes.
